EliteXC and CBS are bringing MMA to network television, the first MMA event will be on Saturday, May 31. The fight card will feature internet legend Kimbo Slice against James Thompson. Is this what it will take for MMA to go mainstream? Post your comments below.

In today’s sue first ask questions later a lot of schools and camps have lessened the amount of full contact between fighters.  This has came at a clear detriment to the fighters themselves.  A lot of fighters are very skilled in their respected art(s) but cannot perform when it truly matters.  It is one of these times of crisis or in the middle of a ring when you don’t want to find out that you should’ve trained differently

So, how do you know you will perform the right move at the right time when it matters.  Well just like any other skill you have learned it is to practice it.  Yes, I said practice at full speed this is the only way your brain will assimilate the movements with the speed at which you will need to use.

The Kufferath Masters Seminar is the premier event of the year for Kilohana Martial Arts Association. Synopsis:

Tim Allen and Chiwetel Ejiofor star in writer/director David Mamet’s martial arts drama concerning a master of jujitsu who becomes overtaken by the money and power of Hollywood. Arguably two of the most exciting MMA fighters fight has been put on hold.  Jake Shields and Drew Fickett were to meet for the EliteXC welterweight division, but do to an injury of Fickett’s he had to back out of the fight.  The previous fight that never happened was scheduled on the night of Cung Le vs. Shamrock card.  We are hoping these two can get together soon.  Below we have listed the current card:
