The Perfect Martial Arts Uniform!

Posted on 23 June 2011 by Tony Thacker

Here are a few things to keep in mind when looking to buy the perfect martial arts uniform. Whether you are looking for a Taekwondo uniform, Karate Gi, Judo Gi, or even a Jiujitsu Gi you will need to keep these things in mind.

Firstly if you are just looking into getting into martial arts and haven’t found a school or instructor yet then that should be your first step. Many martial arts schools have restrictions or requirements on the type and style of martial arts uniform needed for classes and competition. It’s at least easier if you know the style of martial arts you will be practicing. Some styles have very similar uniforms that can be used without problem, for example Tae Kwon Do and Karate. However other martial arts like Kung Fu, Aikido and Kendo have very different looking uniforms.

It is truly unfortunate that we live in a world where criminals seem to have the upper hand inside our legal system. It’s also unfortunate that we live in a world where ordinary citizens like you and I have been sued for simply protecting our own homes! In situations like these, a lot of people would say that the time for some creative thinking is at hand. Practitioners of the art of secret style of ninjutsu are taught to defend themselves against anything that would do them harm. This includes, but is certainly not limited to, a few of the un-logical laws of our penal code.

How to Choose the best MMA Shorts for Mixed Martial Arts Training

Question: What kind of shorts should I buy for MMA?

Hayabusa Black Kyoudo Fight Shorts

Answer: Any shorts that have a drawstring, no pockets, and no metal or plastic on the outside are perfectly fine. The drawstring will keep your shorts secure. Pockets are dangerous because somebody’s fingers or toes can get caught in them. And any metal or plastic can cut or hurt your training partner.
