Should The UFC Use A Minor League System Like MLB?
The other day a friend of mine and I were talking about the up and coming talent of the UFC and even though there are some good ones coming up there isn’t a lot of them. To fix this issue the UFC could start creating smaller organization throughout the U.S. to help raise, train, and harvest the best MMA fighters for the big show.
Self Sufficient Clubs
Each of the smaller organizations could be monetarily self sufficient a lot like current Professional Baseballs’ MLB farm Minor League system. Since there are numerous smaller MMA organizations already doing this it would be nice to see a partnership with the current organizations rather then UFC cutting them out. Although, It would be nice to see a smaller company or organization take the lead on this it would take a significant resource investment to get it off the ground.
