Over at Cagewriter MMA writer Maggie Hendricks wrote an interesting article about 5 All-American wrestlers who COULD be awesome in the cage. At the very least they would be excellent grapplers when compared to the average UFC fighter.
Okay guys settle down…
These guys have been working towards Olympic golds since they were 2 or 3 so they won’t be stepping in the Octagon anytime soon.
However, their names and certainly their skills are certainly be worth remembering. We will be able to take that memory off the shelf and dusting it off in about 5 to 6 years for most of them.
- Kyle Dake, Cornell
- David Taylor, Penn State
- Tony Ramos, Iowa
- Jordan Oliver, Oklahoma State
- Chrsitopher Honeycutt, Edinbouroug: He has already said he was going into MMA. Known for his strength and size.
