The name Bruce Lee is iconic as ever and most people don’t recognize that he is actually responsible for the world of Mixed Martial Arts.

The largest martial arts influence on Lee was his development in Wing Chun which he started learning at age 13. Lee’s instructor was was Yip Man who may have been the earliest version of Dana White who organized competitions between martial art students.

One of Lee’s advantages over previous Hollywood movie making martial artists was that he wasn’t afraid to remove the traditional Kung Fu uniform.  In most of his well known images Lee is shirtless showing his ripped muscles from Deltoids to ripped Abdominal muscles.
