Just starting a mixed martial arts routine? Maybe your child has just enrolled? Either way you will need to be knowledgeable about the types of gear that are really needed to protect yourself or your child. You should build your sparring gear set with a mouth guard, shin guards, some groin protection and sparring gloves. There are several other items that should be considered too, like a couple sets of hand wraps and a set of knee pads. The fact is that it is a dangerous sport if you do not protect yourself with the proper sparring gear.
