Bobby Lashley to fight in March

As reported by mmafighting.com, Bobby Lashley will make his return to mixed martial arts on March 25 in the Titan Fighting Championship.  Bobby LashleyBobby Lashley started his MMA career with 5 victories over some of the least talented fighters in the sport.  Jason Guida, better known for Clay Guida’s brother was victory number two, while Bob Sapp, known mostly for his time in professional wrestling was victory number four.  Lashley’s most recent fight was in the Strikeforce promotion where Chad Griggs, a relatively unknown put the first loss on his record.

TUF goes International

The Ultimate Fighter is a popular reality based television show in which gives professional fighters the opportunitiy to compete for a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The show is entering its 13th season and filming has begun in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, fight fans may get to see this show expand to other countries very soon.

The Ultimate Fighter Season 13 Coaches Revealed

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced the two coaches who will lead the 13th season of the hit reality show, The Ultimate Fighter. This season the two teams will be coached by current number one contender to the UFC Heavyweight title Junior dos Santos and the former champion, Brock Lesnar.

So the UFC released you? Now What?

The recent release of the “Irish hand Grenade” Marcus Davis left me to wonder what was to come for his mixed martial arts future.  Many fighters have made a name for themselves inside the Octagon allowing for bigger paydays outside the UFC.  However, getting the pink slip isn’t the best thing for your career.  When the top MMA organization in the world drops you, your immediate future doesn’t look bright.  Even as recent as last year, the dreaded three fight losing streak was almost a guaranteed release.  With the recent WEC/UFC merger, a fighter might not get a chance to lose three straight.

Strikeforce and UFC — Interesting Future Fight Ideas

This past weekend was a very good weekend for mixed martial arts fans. With two major events going on and more than ten televised events; plenty of action was available. If you like long, contested battles, then the UFC was your place. However, if you liked jaw rattling knockouts Strikeforce was your best bet. Now that the dust has settled a number of fights can be made to advance the careers of many of these fighters.

Additional Fights for The Ultimate Fighter Finale

The Ultimate Fighter Finale is all set for this Saturday, December 4th in Las Vegas, Nevada. As seen on this past Wednesday’s episode of the Ultimate Fighter, teammates Jonathan Brookins and Michael Johnson won their semifinal bouts and now will battle for the title of season 12 champion.
