When Pat Healy was in Strikeforce, he was an unknown fighter that worked to become known. During his time on the Strikeforce Challengers circuit, he won all three of his fights. He was 7-1 overall in the promotion with the lone loss coming to Josh Thomson. In the final four fights of his Strikeforce career, he picked up victories against Maximo Blanco, Caros Fodor, Mizuto Hirota, and Kurt Holobaugh. Those wins helped propel him towards his first UFC fight after his contract was absorbed by the company.
