Ninja Wooden Swords

The Ninja Wooden Sword known by the ninja as a 'bokken' is a finely balanced ninja sword of hardwood construction. Has a black lacquer finish and a large finger guard. Great for beginning thru advanced ninjitsu bokken training.

Background on the Ninja Wooden Sword:
A bokken is used as an inexpensive and relatively safe substitute for a real sword, in training for several martial arts. Bokkens are also used in the Nihon kendo kata, a form of training to develop technically correct movements. Historically, the bokken is as old as Japanese swords, and were used for the training of warriors.
